A man was overdosing on the bathroom floor, and that’s what Jimmy said when he asked the store for Narcan. Boston 25 News reported that Jimmy is credited with saving the man’s life by doing CPR and grabbing Narcan from his own car. At the time, he was an executive at Meta Addiction Treatment Facility in North Reading.
“It’s a miracle he’s alive.”

James “Jimmy” Kane started Kane Life Coaching to do one thing: get people struggling with addiction out of crisis and into a life that works.
He’s a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston, where he earned his certification in alcohol and drug counseling and criminal justice. He’s a certified life and success coach and a certified intervention specialist, with years of experience placing people in treatment facilities around the country.
In the courts, Jimmy is known as an effective advocate for people who need addiction treatment instead of jail. Jail has never been proven to help anybody recover. Treatment gives them a real shot, and Jimmy builds the plan that makes it possible. He works with attorneys in Massachusetts and Florida.
He treats every client with respect and dignity, and he stays with them while they find their footing again. The families he’s worked with say the same thing over and over: he was there, any hour, when they needed him.
