The night you’re having

  • You’ve stood outside their door, listening for breathing.
  • You’ve rehearsed what you’d say. Then you didn’t say it.
  • You’ve covered for them. At work, at family parties, to yourself.
  • You’ve googled “rehab near me” and gotten nine 800 numbers that all sound the same.
  • You’ve wondered if calling the police would save them or ruin them.
  • You’ve thought: if somebody would just tell me what to do.

Jimmy will tell you what to do. That’s the whole job.

“This kid is dead.”

A man was overdosing on the bathroom floor, and that’s what Jimmy said when he asked the store for Narcan. Jimmy did CPR and grabbed Narcan from his own car.

March 2021 · Boston 25 News
“It’s a miracle he’s alive.”

A year later the man was sober and working full time. His message to anybody still struggling: never give up.

And if this is you.

Maybe you’re the one this is about. Maybe somebody sent you this link and you’re mad about it.

That’s fine. Nobody here is going to lecture you.

Jimmy has spent years in courtrooms and treatment centers standing up for people exactly where you are right now, and he treats every one of them with respect. Not like a case. Like a person who’s getting their life back.

You don’t have to be ready. You don’t have to have it figured out. You don’t even have to believe it’ll work.

You just have to make one call.

What happens after you call.

  1. tonight

    You talk to Jimmy.

Not a switchboard, not a referral line that sells your number. Tell him what’s going on, as messy as it is.

  2. next

He builds a plan for your person.

Not one-size-fits-all. Treatment, court, family, coaching, whatever this actually needs.

  3. all the way

He stays in it with you.

The calls with the lawyers, the facility, the court. Families say the same thing about Jimmy: he was there when nobody else picked up.

What families wrote, after.

He saved our daughter’s life when we were completely out of options. When my daughter went missing while deep in the throes of a severe crisis, our family was living in an absolute nightmare… He understood the complex legal and medical urgency of the situation and acted with incredible speed and compassion. As her mother I was emotionally out of control. Jimmy would OFTEN call me. With his sincere tone and positive reassurance he settled me… I feel as though he is a new family member and I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL.
Donna Sandford · her daughter went missing in a crisis; Jimmy helped find her and handled the Section 12 and Section 35
When lawyers would not answer, or return phone calls or emails, Jimmy was there. He responded immediately & gave our family & loved-one help and hope. This resulted in our loved-one being released in a matter of 3 days.
R. Magee · loved one held under a Section 12
I reached out in a time of desperation not knowing what to expect. He is one of the most compassionate understanding people I have ever met. Jimmy helped me get a reversal of a section 35 and get my loved one into a true recovery program.
John Fisher · Section 35
I had found myself in the throes of addiction again and in some legal trouble. Jimmy was there to answer all my calls and work through it with me. He went right to my court date and spoke on my behalf, had an IOP and sober living facility set up for me. I would not have been released that day without Jimmy in my corner… I took that opportunity and I ran with it and am still sober to this day. Recovery is possible and Jimmy has showed me that.
Jared Breton · in his own words, almost four years later
Jimmy has made himself available at all times. He has worked tirelessly to craft a strategy that may very well save our family member from prison… For Jimmy this is personal. He is a rare human being and we love him.
Rincci Montesino · their loved one was facing certain jail time
Nobody does what he does, with the passion he has for saving families… From initial treatment, to aftercare and everything in between he took care of everything, every step of the way. If you or a loved one are seeking help, there is nobody better to call.
Zack Wilkins · a family member, from treatment through aftercare
Jimmy Kane does the most important thing for someone going through Section 12: HE SHOWS UP. He shows and fights for his clients until the proper care and justice under the law is done.
Austin Adamcheck · Section 12
He was super quick to respond to my call. He worked endlessly and with such determination to help my family member. We are eternally grateful for his services.
Vicki Kneece · a family member
